this site had other plans.

tl;dr

this site had other plans.

i planned to make an arg with the start date being 18/09/2026. this site was published roughly 2 weeks ago, albeit very empty at the time. it didn't have much other than the meaning of nihil (look at the current footer), a haiku, shown below:

it will be over

for the good, or for the worse
as long as it's gone.

and a date, 18/09/2026.

i 'softlaunched' the arg to close friends via instagram note, which lowkey was a bad idea because they didn't know what i was talking about when i pointed them to a subpage (blog/???). that's fine, i figured i didn't have time or motivation to make args for friends on the internet and in real life, i guess.

and also because a real one got concerned (thank you) - but it's just a start date. or was a start date for the arg that never started.

i didn't even have a plan either

i just decided to make the arg along the way, make it "flow", or something.

it did have stuff to do with "cryptic" messages (which was just base64, reversing strings, cyphers, or a combination) hooked up to a discord bot where my friends would input the "keys". i also planned for yet even more sites, because why the hell not.

the theme was emptiness - hence, "nihil", and the storyline was exploring a -- FICTIONAL -- character whose life was empty and devoid of literally everything. FICTIONAL!!! NOT BASED OFF A TRUE STORY!!! I AM FINE I AM FINE I AM FI

but i didn't just want to scrap "nihil.etangaming.xyz".

so i decided to make it a 'blog' site full of 'blogs' like these and other random rants. i know, i could've done it on my other site(s), but where's the fun in that?

so yeah, nihil.etangaming.xyz was born from a failed arg attempt.

it's okay though, one day i'll make an arg for friends (because i'm scared to bring it up to the wider internet).

but who knows?

maybe this blog IS a part of the arg! maybe the arg did start and there are clues hidden SOMEWHERE!

you just have to know where - and how - to search for things.
